The "Skilled Technician Surface Treatment" is a professional required to exercise the surface treatment business in many industries, especially: automotive, aeronautics, micromechanics, watches and jewelery. That may also involve the formulation of paints and coatings companies.The treatments and surface coatings are intended to protect, embellish or impart special properties to a surface; modifying it in different ways. These treatments may be chemical or electrolytic. They should be preceded by careful preparation: degreasing and stripping (before treatment), plating, anodizing, phosphate and painting.

After the training, the laureate will be able to execute the following activities:
  • Manage a surface treatment plant
  • Analyze raw materials and finished products
  • Execute treatment (chemical, electrolytic) on metal (steel, aluminum, etc.) In order to protect them from mechanical or corrosive chemical attack
  • Ensure the implementation of safety regulations and compliance with environmental standards
  • Ensure maintenance of production equipment.
He also ensures the marketing of products.
Age Restriction: 30 years old for Baccalaureate and Bachelor holders
School level required: Diploma or Baccalaureate in Science Technical

  • The training is modular, and assessments are carried out as follows:
    • Continuous Controls;
    • Culminating examinations;
    • Passing examinations ;
    • End of training examination
    the laureate can be required by Skilled companies in the aviation sector. These companies are mostly international companies subcontractors or workshops deported them.According skills that demonstrates progress towards a position of responsibility: group leader, foreman, team leader.
