Thus, a full scholarship of 6,334 dirhams will be awarded annually and only to trainees whose parents/guardians reside outside the urban area of the city where the institution in which they are pursuing their training is located. This full scholarship will be paid in three instalments (October, February and May) at the rate of 1,900 dirhams during the first two periods and 2,533 dirhams during the third period.

As regards trainees living in the same cities where their institutions are located, they will receive a half scholarship of MAD 3,167, also paid in three instalments, up to MAD 950 in the first two periods and MAD 1,266 in the third period.

Almost 80,000 trainees are concerned by this new measure, as a first step. This is in addition to Decree No. 2-17-408 of 4 August 2017, which set the conditions for granting it. Thus, access to scholarships is subject to the same conditions in force in public higher education.

Note that in addition to the scholarship, OFPPT trainees will continue to benefit from the Compulsory Health Insurance (AMO).
